Lyon have revealed that they have received three bids for star striker Bafetimbi Gomis according to Goal.com.

Lyon’s President Jean-Michel-Aulas did not reveal the identity of Gomis potential suitors but the striker has been linked with moves to Bayer Leverkusen and Shakhtar Donetsk, as well as Premier League clubs Cardiff City and Swansea City.

“We had three proposals and we will probably be receive a fourth soon. He could gain a greater financial package than with OL. The proposal on offer will make him the envy of many players,” he told L’Equipe.

The striker is currently on holiday but will decide his future when he returns although staying at Lyon appears unlikely.

Gomis is Lyon’s star striker having scored 20 goals for them last season and those goals managed to help Lyon finish in third place in Ligue 1, meaning the club will be entered into the final qualifying round of the Champions League.

The 27 year currently has one year left on his contract at Lyon, meaning he could leave for free next summer.

Lyon are likely to cash in on Gomis before then but will demand at least 12 million euros for the striker, meaning the likes of newly-promoted Cardiff may struggle to pay the asking price.
