Real Madrid remain desperate to sign Gareth Bale and will pull out all the stops to secure his signature according to The Mirror.

After seeing their straight cash advances knocked back, the Spanish giants are now ready to offer players in part exchange in the hopes of securing a deal for the Welsh star.

Real were previously willing to offer players in part exchange but could not give any negotiations the ‘ok’ until they had appointed a replacement for Jose Mourinho.

Carlo Ancelotti has since arrived from PSG and run the rule over the current crop of Galacticos and has informed club officials of who he would be willing to part with in order to secure Bale’s signature.

Top of the list is Argentine winger Angel Di Maria, who remains highly rated in the Spanish capital but would be unlikely to continue featuring in the starting eleven should Bale arrive at the club.

It is not clear whether Tottenham would be interested in such a deal though with reports emerging that Spurs have re-doubled their efforts to keep Bale at White Hart Lane.

It has been suggested that Spurs have now offered Bale a whopping £170,000 a week deal in an attempt to keep him at the club.
