Mario Gomez Isn’t Moving To Fiorentina Insists Agent

The striker has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this summer.

Mario Gomez agent has insisted that the striker has not agreed personal terms with Italian side Fiorentina, Goal.com reports.

The prolific attacker is keen to move away from European Champions Bayern Munich because of the lack of first team football at the club and recent reports have suggested that Gomez had agreed a four year deal with Fiorentina.

However, the strikers agent, Uli Ferber has dismissed those claims and has said that the striker will be at pre-season training with Bayern.

“Mario has not agreed terms with any team,” Ferber told Sport1 when questioned about Fiorentina’s interest.

“He will train with Bayern today and in the upcoming days just like the other players. Everything else is nothing but speculation at this point.”

Although the strikers contract at Bayern runs until 2016, Gomez is keen to leave the club this summer having spend most of last season on the bench.

As well as Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid are also thought to be interested in Gomez and the striker is likely to cost interested clubs £16.9 million.

Their is also a possibility that Gomez could stay at the Allianz Arena, with new manager Pep Guardiola thought to be keen to keep the German striker at the club and could give Gomez more first team opportunities this season.
