The German forward is one of the most highly rated young players in Europe.
A host of top clubs are all chasing German wonderkid Julian Draxler, who is thought to be worth around £39 million, Sports Direct News reports.
Draxler has scored 13 goals and 7 assists for Schalke this season and has become one of the most highly rated young players in Europe and at the age of 19 already has 6 appearances for the German national team.
Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City are all chasing the striker, with City thought to be ready to pay nearly £39 million the player, with manager Manuel Pellegrini desperate to sign a quality youngster after missing out on Isco, who moved to Real Madrid.
Schalke seem resigned to the fact that they will lose Draxler and will not stand in the players way if he decides to move to a bigger club, although interested clubs will have to reach their £39 million asking price.
Both Chelsea and Real Madrid could see Draxler as a cheaper alternative to Edinson Cavani, who Napoli won’t sell for less than £53 million, a price that both clubs are reluctant to pay.
City are already out of the race to sign Cavani having had a £34 million plus Edin Dzeko bid turned down by Napoli.
