Gonzalo Higuain has confirmed that he will leave Real Madrid this summer.

Gonzalo Higuin has announced that he will leave Real Madrid this summer and hinted that he may move to Italian Champions Juventus according to Sky Sports.

Speculation has mounted that the Argentine would leave the Spanish capital this summer, and after Real Madrid’s final game of season against Osasuna, Higuain confirmed his departure.

“I am leaving Real Madrid, the decision has been made, I feel the time is right and I want a change of scenery,” said Higuain.

“I have not decided where I will go, but the club already know that I want to go. It was my decision”.

When asked about a move to Juventus, Higuain said “Juventus? Yes, they are a possibility but I do not know.”

Higuain is likely to be missed by Madrid. Known for his eye for goal, he has scored 19 goals this season making 44 appearences.

A host of Premier League clubs are also said to be interested in the Argentine, with both Manchester City and Chelsea interested in the striker.

Higuain began his career at River Plate before moving to the Spanish capital in 2007.

The Argentine has spent 6 years at Real Madrid, scoring 107 goals in 190 games.

He has also been capped 32 times by his country, scoring 20 goals.
