Swansea City are looking to build on their impressive top ten finish last term by investing in some top quality talent this summer.

Liberty Stadium owner Huw Jenkins has the carrot of a Europa League spot to dangle in front of potential new signings and is ready to offer around £10m to lure Vitesse Arnhem goal machine Wilfried Bony to South Wales.

The Ivory Coast international scored at a phenomenal rate in Holland, netting 31 goals to finish as the Eredivisie’s top scorer. The likes of West Ham and Newcastle United are also said to be interested but Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup appears to be winning the race and the Dane will hope to pair Bony with Michu next term.

Swansea City will also look to sign Championship starlet Tom Ince, who had an excellent season with Blackpool last term during which he finished as the division’s top assist maker and also netted 18 goals.

Laudrup’s main competitors in the race to sign the England Under 21 international are compatriots Cardiff City but Swansea City are willing to match the Bluebirds £8m bid for the 21 year old former Liverpool man.
