Newly-promoted side hoping Moyes will sanction loan deal for youngster.

Check in to Transfer Window: Done Deal Alerts

Crystal Palace are waiting to discover if new Manchester United boss David Moyes will sanction a loan deal for England starlet Wilfried Zaha according to The Mirror.

Zaha was signed by the Premier League champions during the January transfer window before former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson immediately loaned the player back to the club.

Zaha went on to help Palace to successfully navigate the play-offs and win promotion to the Premier League.

It is understood that the tricky 20 year old is keen to stay at Old Trafford as he believes he has what it takes to prove he is worthy of a place in the United first team.

But it remains to be seen whether Moyes feels Zaha could benefit from an initial spell in the Premier League at a lower level.

Moyes is keen to get off to a flying start in order to maintain a seamless transition from Ferguson’s rein to his own and is likely to look to some of the club’s more established stars early on in the season.

Should Zaha decide he still wants to try his hand somewhere new, he could also have the option of Fulham or West Ham after the pair also submitted loan bids for the player.
