There is growing speculation that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be about to reunite with former PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid according to Spanish source Punto Pelota.

The Swede is willing to take a pay-cut to secure a move to join the La Liga giants but it’s surely a move that PSG’s big spending board will not want to sanction.

The 31 year old was PSG’s key performer last term, scoring 30 goals in Ligue 1, 11 more than his nearest rival in the Ligue 1 top-scorers chart and helped his side to their first domestic title in almost two decades.

Perhaps Ibrahimovic has achieved as much as he can at the Parc des Princes and a move to join Real Madrid appears to appeal to the former Barcelona man, clearly the powerful forward has no qualms about making the contentious move to the arch rivals of his former Catalan employers.

Ibrahimovic has been in fine form in recent seasons but could apparently be available for as little as €20 (£17m).

The former Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan man has scored 92 goals in his past three seasons.
