Barcelona have tried their best to keep Thiago at the Nou Camp but the midfielder wants to move on knowing that he if he were to stay at Barcelona next season, he is unlikely to play anymore games than he did during the clubs last campaign.
Despite being one of the most highly rated young players in Europe at the moment, Thiago barely played for Barcelona last season, with competition for places in the clubs midfield fierce.
He knows that won’t change this season and feels he will get more game time elsewhere but wants it written into his contract that he should play regularly at his new club.
Manchester United are front-runners for the midfielders signature and manager David Moyes has told Thiago that he will be a first team regular at Old Trafford but can’t give the midfielder anymore guarantees.
