German wonder kid Julian Draxler has not ruled out a move away this summer, but does admit it is very unlikely due to having “everything he needs at Schalke”.

The 19 year-old, that has been targeted by Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal, wishes to continue his development at Schalke due to the chance of more first team football than any team targeting him can offer according to the Daily Express.

“I’m going to try to do that [play frequently] as much as possible and then we can reconsider in the new year,” Draxler told Schalke’s official website.

“I have everything I need at Schalke. They’re my club and always have been.”

Julian has only just signed a new deal with the German side, tying him down until 2018, which has just boosted his price tag to a huge £38million. Meaning, if any team were to buy him, Julian would be the second most expensive young player ever – behind PSG’s Brazilian maestro Lucas Moura who cost €45million.

Schalke are also trying to hold on to Greek central defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos, after being strongly linked with a £15million move to Premier League side Liverpool as Brendan Rodgers looks to continue his summer spending.

The 21 year-old was previously targeted by Arsenal after impressive performances in recent seasons for Schalke and Greece, but deals for Higuain and Rooney appear to be a priority for the London based side – especially after impressive performances from both Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny throughout last season for the Champions League side.
