Real Madrid are hoping that this is the year that they can sell Brazilian midfielder Kaka, Marca reports.

Los Blancos recently signed young midfielder Isco from Malaga and the Spain under 21 international is yet another creative player that Madrid have on their books and is yet more competition for Kaka.

The Brazilian will have to compete with Isco, Mesurt Ozil, Luka Modric and possibly Jese just for a starting spot in the Madrid team next season and all four have shown more form than Kaka has in the past year.

Madrid hope that by signing Isco it will finally push Kaka out of the Bernabeu and rid them of a player who has been disappointing since he signed for them four years ago.

Kaka is desperate to be a part of next summers World Cup in his native Brazil and won’t do that by warming the bench next season, which is very likely considering the type of competition he will face to get into the Madrid first team.

A return to Brazil is reportedly on the cards, with Sao Paulo thought to be interested.

The only thing that can stop a move is if Kaka continues to demand the astronomical wages that he is currently on, which would make him unaffordable for most of the clubs in the world.
