Premier League new boys Hull City are reportedly weighing up a move for Carlton Cole following his release from West Ham United at the end of last season, according to Sky Sports.

Manager Steve Bruce is said to be eager to add more fire power to his front line this summer as the club prepares for their return to the Premier League.

Bruce is thought to have already held talks with the former England man earlier this summer, though they are not the only club to be interested in him as the likes of West Brom and Crystal Palace have also been credited with an interest in his services.

However, he is also attracting interest from overseas, with the 29-year-old understood to be talking to a number of Turkish clubs, including Besiktas this week about a possible move.

Bruce had been hoping to add Burnley striker Charlie Austin to his ranks but that now looks dead in the water as the player failed his medical and now the former Wigan boss is eager to secure Cole to a deal at the KC Stadium.

Cole is expected to make a final decision on his future toward the end of the week once he has held talks with his Turkish suitors with the player keen to fix himself at a new club.
