The Aston Villa striker has also been linked with Newcastle and Hull City.
The race for Aston Villa striker Darren Bent looks to be hoting up, with Roma and Wolfsburg said to be interested in the former England international, Sports Direct News reports.
Bent is set to leave Villa Park this summer, having had a tough time at the club last season.
Villa manager Paul Lambert often left the striker on the bench and instead favoured Belgium international Christan Benteke in the strikers positions.
Ironically, it looks like Benteke will also be leaving Villa this summer, with Chelsea and Tottenham interested in the striker.
Bent has been linked with many different clubs this summer, including Newcastle United and newly promoted Hull City but it looks like a move abroad could be on the cards with Roma and Wolfsburg showing their interest.
Reports suggest that Bent could be available for as little as £5 million, making him very affordable to a lot of the clubs that are interested in him.
Roma will make a move for Bent if they fail to sign Palermo forward Abel Hernandez however, Newcastle are still thought to be favourites to sign the striker, with Alan Pardew wanting to bring in several players with Premier League experience this summer.
