Richard Dunne- Aston Villa to QPR
The defender is currently a free agent having been released by Aston Villa at the end of last season. The 33 year old is hugely experienced but has suffered with injuries recently and is trying to regain his fitness. He was never likely to be given a chance at Villa due to Paul Lambert’s insistence on using youth but he the Irishman could find a home at QPR. Harry Redknapp is hoping to completely re-vamp his squad this summer and would welcome the signing of the experienced Dunne. Redknapp wants to change the philosophy at QPR by signing proven professionals and Dunne would certainly fit into that category. Dunne would be an excellent addition to QPR’s squad and the chances are that he will be at Loftus Road next season.
