Kevin Strootman to Manchester United or Roma
Strootman has made his mind up to leave PSV Eindhoven this summer following the sales of Erik Pieters and Jeremain Lens and has the rather difficult choice to make between Manchester United and Roma.
United have been long time admirers, and much like Ezequiel Garay, David Moyes is believed to be interested in following up on Sir Alex Ferguson’s initial interest in the man who has been described as the ‘new Roy Keane’.
However, Italian giants Roma have also thrown their hat into the ring as they look to replace the talismanic Daniele De Rossi who now looks as though he is on the way to Chelsea.
But recent developments have shown that the Serie A side have failed to meet PSV’s asking price and now the Dutch international has said that he will now have to think about where he wants to end up.
United are believed to be his favoured choice, but they have yet to make a formal offer as they look to continue to bed David Moyes into the job ahead of the new season.
There are reported to be more clubs interested in his signature, some have even made offers, but he has his heart set on a move to one of the two aforementioned clubs and will now wait to see how events unfold.
