Gary Hooper- Celtic to QPR
Hooper is one of Celtic’s most important players and has scored a lot of goals during his time at Celtic Park. However, the striker has one year remaining on his current contract with Celtic and reports suggest that Hooper has no intention of signing another deal, meaning Celtic face the possibility of losing him for free next summer. The Scottish Champions are unlikely to let that happen and will more than likely sell the striker this summer, with manager Neil Lennon admitting that the club will find it hard to persuade Hooper to stay at the club.
QPR are reportedly close to agreeing a £5 million deal with Celtic for Hooper and the striker is thought to be keen on a move to Loftus Road despite their place in the Championship. Hooper wants to try and force his way into the England national team and sees a move to England as a good way for him to get into Roy Hodgson’s plans.
