Striker keen to stay with Portuguese club.
Jackson Martinez is set to disappoint a host of clubs across Europe by committing his future to Porto according to The Express.
The Colombian striker has been in fine form for Porto in recent years and has put in a number of highly impressive performances for the club.
That has not gone unnoticed, with a string of top European sides thought to be monitoring his availability.
Martinez has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League, with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool all thought to be keeping tabs on the player.
There have been rumours of interest from abroad as well with Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund and Serie A side Napoli thought to be keen on Martinez.
Porto were known to have offered Martinez a new deal but interested parties regained hope of securing his signature when he was slow to sign the contract.
Martinez is still yet to put pen to paper on the offer but has come out publically to declare his intention to stay with the Portuguese club.
Martinez expressed his desire to win more trophies at Porto and that he is currently very happy at the club.
The player’s agent though is keen to secure the player a move and continues to attempt to spark the interest of clubs from across the continent.
