Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has insisted that the clubs new manager Carlo Ancelotti has no intention of raiding Paris St Germain for striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and midfielder Marco Verratti, Goal.com reports.

Ancelotti moved to Madrid from PSG last month and reports have suggested that he is considering bringing both Ibrahimovic and Verratti to the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, Pereez states that the rumours are false and he claimed that Madrid won’t be signing any player from PSG this summer.

“Ancelotti has not asked us to sign any players from Paris Saint-Germain,” the Madrid president was quoted as saying by L’Equipe.

“I can guarantee PSG fans that we will not go after any of their players. We will not attempt to sign Ibrahimovic, nor Verratti.”

Real Madrid have been busy so far this summer having signed Casemiro, Dani Carvajal, Isco and Asmir Illarramendi but Perez has hinted that the club aren’t finished with their transfer business just yet.

Los Blancos have been heavily linked with moves for Tottenham winger Gareth Bale and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and reports suggest that the Spanish giants could be set to offer Spurs a world record £85 million for the services of the Welsh winger.

Meanwhile, Suarez has been stating all summer that he would like to move to Real Madrid but so far the Spanish club have chosen not to make a formal approach to Liverpool for the striker.
