Want away Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is ready to leave Old Trafford this summer, with London as his priority, due to Wayne eyeing moves to Chelsea or Arsenal according to the Daily Mail.

The 27 year-old is desperate for a move to London, but Chelsea are his preference, as he has a dream to work with newly appointed Blues boss Jose Mourinho. If a deal is not made between Rooney, United and Chelsea then Roo will have no choice but go to their London rivals Arsenal – who are currently pursuing a move for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

David Moyes has already poured cold water on reports claiming Wayne is poised to leave Old Trafford this summer, but it seems increasingly likely that the England international will leave Manchester due to being unhappy.

One of the factors tempting the Evertonian to Chelsea is their strong ambition for a title push, with three new arrivals already this summer – plus a new word class manager, Mourinho.

Various media outlets claim Wayne was upset with phone calls he has had with Moyes and Ed Woodward [vice-chairman] leaving the striker “angry and confused” about his role.

This was due to the newly appointed Red Devils boss stating Robin van Persie is his number one striker, and insisting Rooney is not bigger than the club – so he cannot force his way into the first team.

Chelsea are thought to be preparing another offer for Rooney, which is expected to be around £30million for the striker, which United may still refuse if they are adamant about Wayne staying.
