18. Neymar

The time has come now for the flamboyant Brazilian to show the world just what he can do following his move from Santos to Barcelona this summer.

There have been some serious question marks over just how good he actually is, but if his Confederations Cup performances are anything to go by then European football fans will be in for a real treat. The 21-year-old illuminated the tournament with his silky skills, mazy dribbles and outstanding goalscoring ability, which saw him finish the tournament with four goals, including one in the final.

He got his hands on the golden ball as the best player at the tournament, and will be hoping that his game improves significantly enough in Spain for him to stand a good chance at winning it again at the World Cup next year.
