6. Zlatan Ibrahimovic
The Mercurial Swede proved once again that he is a hit wherever he goes and helped the club win their first league title since 1994.
Alongside fellow new signing from AC Milan, Thiago Silva, he set about lighting up Ligue 1 with his own unique antics and illuminating brand of football that won him even more fans, and probably a couple more enemies just for good measure.
Ibrahimovic immediately took France by storm and was the catalyst for PSG’s title victory, top-scoring in the league with 30 goals and named Ligue 1 Player of the Year in the process.
The 31-year-old also left his mark in the Champions League, chalking up the most assists in the tournament and scoring against Barcelona in his side’s unfortunate quarter-final exit.
Last season also saw him score what could quite possibly be the goal of the century in a friendly for Sweden against England with an outrageously placed overhead kick from all of 30-yards. However, his future at the Parc des Princes has been cast into doubt thanks to the arrival of Edinson Cavani from Napoli, prompting talk of a move to another European giant just a year after arriving in the French capital.
