Glory Striker awaits test results
Shane Smeltz recovery has been dealt a heavy blow after a Melanoma was discovered on his leg during Physiotherapy.
The striker was already on the sidelines after having surgery to correct a recurring hip injury.
The Cancer was caught early, Medics are running tests to ensure it hasn’t spread elsewhere in Smelt’z body.
Speaking to Four Four Two Australia Smeltz’s wife said: “We got it at a good time, but still, it was frightening. We are still waiting on tests just to confirm they got it all and it hasn’t spread but so far so good. Fingers crossed.”
