Hull City are lining up a possible move to sign Arsenal outcast Nicklas Bendtner this summer, according to the Mirror.

The Gunners are keen to offload Bendtner this summer as their summer clear-out continues, but it’s the Dane’s excessive wage demands that are putting off potential suitors from bringing in the forward. Tigers boss Steven Bruce is a known admirer of Bendtner, and hopes to conclude one or two more deals before the end of the window.

Arsenal have let go of 24 players this summer, including the likes of Gervinho, Denilson, Marouane Chamakh, Johan Djourou and Andre Santos, all players who have failed to reach their potential at the club, and hope to add flop striker Nicklas Bendtner to the list before the summers end. Told to find a new club this summer, the 25-year old has seen moves to Spain & Germany break down this summer.

Bruce is keen to bring Bendtner in, having signed him twice before during his managerial career, on loan at Birmingham during the 2005/06 season, and on loan at Sunderland for the 2011/12 season, and wishes to bring him to Hull on a permanent basis, but the two parties are currently unable to agree a wage structure for the striker.

The Tigers are keen to bring in reinforcements this summer, especially in the midfield area, and want to sign Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermoore from Tottenham, but face interest from other Premier League clubs for their services.
