Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has thrown a spanner into the works for Manchester United boss David Moyes by claiming that the 27-year-old doesn’t look injured at all, talkSPORT reports.

The wantaway United ace has not featured at all for his club during pre season amidst rumours of a shoulder injury, but those close to the club know it is because he wants to engineer a move away from Old Trafford with Chelsea still interested.

Rooney missed out on Sunday’s Community Shield final against Wigan Athletic with the suspected shoulder injury, but his international teammate Wilshire has denied that he is injured at all, quite the opposite in fact.

Speaking ahead of England’s friendly encounter with Scotland, Wilshere said; “He’s the same Wayne Rooney,” Wilshere said. “Half an hour before training he’s out there playing jokes on everyone. He’s happy in himself and he’s performing in training.

“It looks like he hasn’t been injured at all. He’s been firing the goals in and he looks sharp. I’m sure he’ll be looking to get some minutes on the pitch.”

Wilshere himself is not expected to feature heavily in the game after Arsene Wenger told Roy Hodgson not to include him for the full 90 minutes.
