(Video) Vancouver Whitecaps Striker Kenny Miller Scores a Cracker Against England

The Scotland forward made the Auld Enemy pay with the superb opening strike of a 3-2 thriller.

Kenny Miller made the most of his week away from the Whitecaps.

The Vancouver striker lined up for Scotland against arch-enemies England at Wembley on Wednesday, and made his return to Britain known.

The ex-Rangers and Celtic man did well to use his chest to trap a whipped cross from full-back Alan Hutton, before a quick shimmy gave him some breathing room from England centre-back Gary Cahill. He then took a touch and slammed a left-footed shot low into Joe Hart’s bottom right-hand corner.

Unfortunately for Miller, Scotland went on to lose the game 3-2 thanks to a terrific England comeback and a fairytale debut goal for 31-year-old Southampton striker Rickie Lambert.

Vancouver fans, on the other hand, should be able to enjoy Miller’s goal regardless – watch it here:
