White Hart Lane side target powerful striker.
Tottenham are readying a big money move for Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk according to Sports Direct News.
Andre Villas-Boas is keen to strengthen his attack and having brought in Spanish international Roberto Soldado, who has netted three goals in his first two competitive appearances for the North London side, the White Hart Lane boss is readying a £30m offer for the 27 year old Brazilian.
With Gareth Bale likely to complete his long awaited move to Real Madrid Villas-Boas is looking to bring in further goal scoring options and Hulk may be ready to leave Russia having had something of an up and down time of it since moving to Zenit from FC Porto last September.
Villas-Boas has worked with Hulk before with the powerful forward netting 36 goals in all competitions for FC Porto during the Portuguese boss’s treble winning campaign in charge of the Estadio Dragao side and the Zenit man could be an ideal foil to play alongside Soldado in the Tottenham attack.
Tottenham have spent upwards of £50m to bring in Paulinho, Nacer Chadli, Etienne Capoue and the aforementioned Soldado but will have no shortage of funds once Bale has secured his move to the Bernabeu, funds that Villas-Boas appears keen on using to further aid the club’s pursuit of that all important top four finish.
