Eyong Enoh has claimed that Crystal Palace are interested in signing him this summer but also said that he will speak to Olympiakos about a move to Greece first, Sky Sports reports.

Enoh spent last season on loan at Fulham and could return to Craven Cottage this season if Martin Jol decides to bring him back to the club.

However, Jol hasn’t made a decision yet, meaning Enoh is looking at other options.

While Crystal Palace are interested in signing him, Enoh admits that he more likely to more to Olymipiakos as it would mean that he has the opportunity to play in the Champions League.

The 27-year-old told De Telegraaf: “It’s a good option. Olympiakos will participate in the Champions League and are a big club in Greece. My agent is in talks with them.

“Crystal Palace have also made contact. I am honoured by their interest, but first I will talk with Olympiakos.”

It has been a testing summer for Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway, who is desperately trying to improve the Eagles squad as they fight for Premier League survival.

Signing someone like Enoh would give Palace the boast that they need but they will have to hope that the midfielders talks with Olympiakos are unsuccessful.
