Tottenham look set to continue their busy summer by making a move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, the Daily Mirror reports.

Manager Andre Villas-Boas is looking to add another striker to his squad as Jermaine Defoe could leave the club before the transfer window closes.

The Portuguese coach feels that Hernandez would be an ideal finisher for his side and would give the Mexican a run in his first team, something he is unlikely to get at Manchester United.

However, Manchester United manager David Moyes will demand a bid in the region of £15 million if he is to be persuaded to sell Hernandez.

Moyes isn’t pushing for Hernandez to leave the club but if a sizeable bid were to come in for him, the Scot could be tempted into selling.

Tottenham are characteristically looking to drive a hard bargain and want to pay between £7-8 million for the Mexican but United a highly unlikely to lower Hernandez asking price to that level, meaning Spurs will need to up their own valuation if they do want to sign the highly-rated front-man.
