Gareth Bale has reportedly passed his Real Madrid medical and is set to be unveiled as Real Madrid’s newest signing within a matter of hours according to the Daily Mail.
The 24 year old Welsh international has completed a world record £85m move to the La Liga side after a long drawn out transfer saga that took up pretty much the entire summer transfer window and will now look to justify the massive outlay Real Madrid have paid to Tottenham for his services.
Bale had an outstanding season last term, scoring 26 goals in all competitions and in the process winning both the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards, though his goals failed to help his North London side to secure that all important top four finish which made his departure perhaps inevitable.
