Tigers look to sign Baggies forward.
Hull City have reportedly agreed a £5m deal to sign West Brom striker Shane Long according to Sports Direct News.
The 26 year old had been given permission to leave the Republic of Ireland training camp to discuss terms with the KC Stadium side as well as to undergo a medical as Steve Bruce looks to bring in attacking reinforcements that he hopes will help in his pursuit of keeping the Tigers in the top flight.
Steve Clarke’s willingness to sell Long is however dependent on his landing of either Stephane Sessegnon from Sunderland or Victor Anichebe from Everton so any move to Hull City may be on hold for the time being.
Long moved to West Brom from Reading back in August 2011 and has scored 19 goals in 70 appearances for the club having netted 54 goal in 201 appearances for the Royals.
The one time Cork City striker has started all three of West Brom’s Premier League fixtures thus far this season.
