West Brom are reportedly in talks to sign Everton forward Victor Anichebe and Sunderland attacker Stephane Sessegnon according to Sky Sports.

Baggies boss Steve Clarke has seen his side fail to score in three Premier League matches and seems desperate to land an attacker or two on deadline day and may feel confident of bringing in the aforementioned pair.

Toffees youngster Anichebe has managed just a single minute of Premier League action thus far this season and the 25 year old may feel it’s time to leave the club he has represented since the age of 15. The Nigerian internatonal has struggled to make an impact during his time at Goodison Park and may feel a move to the Hawthorns could help re-ignite his career.

Sunderland are apparently open to allowing Benin international Sessegnon to leave the Stadium of Light this summer after Paolo Di Canio informed the forward that he is not part of his long term plans.

Sessegnon moved to the North-East from PSG in January 2011 and has scored 18 goals in 97 appearances for Sunderland.
