Manchester United have confirmed the loan departures for the season of Bebe, Davide Petrucci, and Marnick Vermijl on their official website.

Portuguese flop Bebe is set to return to his home country again after spending last season on loan with Rio Ave, this time signing a season-long deal with F.C. Paços de Ferreira, in a bid to put the backup winger in the shop window.

The 23-year-old was famously signed by former manager Sir Alex Ferguson before he’d ever seen him play, and this has gone down as an unsuccessful risk by the legendary boss, with Bebe desperately failing to make an impression at Old Trafford.

Petrucci, 21, has never made a senior appearance for United, and will look to gain some experience on loan with Belgian Second Division side Royal Antwerp, who have taken several of the club’s players on loan in recent times.

Finally, Vermijl, a Belgium Under-21 international, has joined Dutch Eredevisie side NEC Nijmegen, and is another player some way off breaking into the club’s first team at the moment.

These three players join young midfield prospect Nick Powell in leaving the club on loan, with the 19-year-old moving to Championship side Wigan for the 2013/14 season.
