Bayern one of several teams keen on Lazio star.
Treble winners Bayern Munich could look to add Lazio midfielder Hernanes to their ranks either at January or at the end of the season, according to Forza Italian Football.
The 28-year-old has been a highly impressive performer for the Roman side over the last few years, scoring some memorable goals from midfield since joining from Brazilian side Sao Paulo in 2010.
Manchester City were also linked with Hernanes at points in the summer, though their interest now seems to have cooled as Bayern are the main candidates along with PSG and Atletico Madrid to secure his signature.
Hernanes is currently expecting to open talks over a new contract with Lazio, but with his current deal set to expire in 2015, it is no surprise to see several top clubs monitoring his situation, and Bayern may hope to lure him away to join their star-studded squad.
New manager Pep Guardiola is yet to make a huge amount of signings for the Bavarian giants, bringing in only Mario Goetze and Thiago Alcantara to the club so far, despite thoughts that he may embark on something of a spending spree to put his own stamp on the side that dominated Europe under Juup Heynckes last season.
