Arsenal could face competition from Serie A giants Juventus for the signing of Lyon playmaker Clement Grenier, according to Italian news source TuttoMercatoWeb.
The 22-year-old was linked with Arsenal for much of the summer after an impressive campaign last year in which he contributed 7 goals and 9 assists for the Ligue 1 side, though he eventually signed a new contract with the club.
This hasn’t deterred Juventus though, who are keen to add this promising attacker to their ranks in the near future, as they look to build on their recent title success in Serie A with some further progress in the Champions League.
Antonio Conte managed to add some big names in Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente to his squad this summer, though he missed out on the signing of Christian Eriksen, who instead left Ajax for Premier League side Tottenham.
Grenier is a similarly creative and skillful midfield player who looks set to shine on the big stage for many years to come, and who also attracted interest from Liverpool during the summer.
