Italian giants Napoli and Inter Milan have been placed on high alert after French international defender Adil Rami claimed that he would never play for Valencia ever again, Football Italia reports.

The French defender lashed out at Coach Miroslav Djukic and his fellow teammates in an astounding radio interview on Tuesday night.

“I do not speak with Djukic. He is the head of the boat, but we will see where we are at the end of the season,” the France international stated.

“My relationship with him is not good. He does not speak to your face. To me, he said I could be one of the best centre-backs in Europe and he has not shown it.

“We lost people like Albelda, Tino Costa and Soldado, people who talk face to face and now in the dressing room there are only those that don’t tell the truth.”

The 27-year-old was angry at being left out of the side to face Grenada last weekend and the Serbian coach has now insisted that the player is no longer available for selection and will never play for the club again.

“The Coach of Valencia, Miroslav Djukic, with the full backing of everyone involved in the club, has decided to remove Adil Rami from the match against Granada, for his clear, disrespectful public protests against the Coach and his teammates, made without the required permission or knowledge of the club,” read a club statement on the matter.

“Valencia and their values are above the interests of any person or any other consideration. Only respect for the club will make us great.

“In place of Adil Rami, Oriol Romeu will join the squad.”

News of his exclusion from the side has set the two Serie A sides scrambling to make tentative enquiries over what Los Che may be willing to accept for him when the January transfer window opens.

Both sides were linked with making a move for him over the summer, as were Premier League side Arsenal, but Rami instead opted to stay put at the Mestalla.
