Spurs to step up move for exciting youth prospect.
Tottenham could be about to make a move for exciting Anderlecht youngster Youri Tielemans, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The 16-year-old wonderkid has been on the radar of the Premier League giants in recent times, with Spurs scouts reportedly sending back ‘rave reviews’ of the Belgian midfielder.
Although Tielemans has only made one senior appearance so far for Anderlecht, he has caught the eye as an exciting prospect for the future with his outstanding displays at youth level for club and country, already earning two caps for the Belgium Under-21s.
Spurs recruited a great deal of top talent this summer, and may now look to invest in youth this January, as Tielemans could be available for just £1.1m.
He could join fellow Belgians Jan Vertonghen, Moussa Dembele and Nacer Chadli at White Hart Lane, as well as many other of his country’s biggest stars currently playing in England.
A nation very much on the up, Belgium look to have a number of outstanding young talents coming through at the moment, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne also impressing in the Premier League for Chelsea.
