Sunderland and Everton have been linked with a move for CSKA Moscow youngster Ahmed Musa, who has also been watched by Arsenal and Fenerbahce, according to talkSPORT.

The 20-year-old forward is attracting a great deal of interest after some fine displays in Russia, and could be on the move for around £10m this January, according to reports.

The Nigerian joined CSKA Moscow in 2012, and has scored 17 goals in 50 appearances for the club, meaning he is likely to be the subject of more intense interest if he maintains this fine form.

Sunderland will be keen to strengthen in January after a busy summer that has failed to bear fruit after some poor decisions on and off the pitch by previous manager Paolo Di Canio, who was sacked last week after a poor start to the season.

Everton are also chasing additions upfront, with Roberto Martinez’s struggling to get the best out of strike pair Arouna Kone and Nikica Jelavic, and with young star Romelu Lukaku set to return to Chelsea next season when his loan spell comes to an end.

However, Fenerbahce may provide stern competition this January, as the Turks are supposedly stepping up their interest in this exciting young talent.
