Stamford Bridge side one of many chasing Danish international.
Chelsea will battle Man United and Roma in pursuit of highly rated Ajax forward Viktor Fischer according to talkSPORT.
The 19 year old is on Jose Mourinho’s radar as the Blues boss looks to bring in further attacking options having seen the likes of Fernando Torres, Andre Schurrle and Demba Ba struggle for form, none of the trio having managed a Premier League goal thus far this season.
Ajax saw Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen join Atletico Madrid and Tottenham respectively and will fight hard to keep hold of Fishcher, who is tied down to a long term deal until 2017.
But Roma will not be deterred and are expected to go back in for the 19-year-old, who has a contract at the Eredivisie side until 2017.
Last term the wide attacker made a real impact once breaking into the first team set-up, scoring 12 goals in all competitions, and the teenager has already collected full Danish senior caps and is a player with a very bright future.
Fischer may well be expected to make what is considered an inevitable move away from the Eredivisie to one of the ‘Big Leagues’ and there will be no shortage of interested parties when he does indeed leave the Amsterdam ArenA.
