Liverpool’s Luis Suarez Eyes £41m Madrid Move To Replace Out-Of-Sorts Karim Benzema In January

Uruguay attacker is determined to push through his dream transfer to the Bernabeu.

Controversial Liverpool front man Luis Suarez is said to still be desperate to quit the Merseyside giants and join Liga outfit Real Madrid as soon as the transfer window reopens again for business at the turn of the year, according to reports in Spanish publication Intereconomia.

The hugely talented Uruguay international has only just returned to the Reds’ first team after having served a ten-match ban for being found guilty by The Football Association of biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic on the upper arm in a Premier League match at Anfield in April.

However, it is understood that the 26-year-old still has his heart set on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu come the new year to replace out-of-form Madrid striker Karim Benzema, with the France international currently struggling badly for form in front of goal in the Spanish capital.

And with Suarez also having not been cup tied in Europe with Liverpool not featuring in either the Uefa Champions League or the Uefa Europa League this season, the forward is an even more attractive proposition for los Blancos to buy in January, as he will be able to play for Carlo Ancelotti’s men in Europe’s premier club competition.
