Juventus could be set to compete with Liverpool this January for a move for out-of-favour PSG winger Jeremy Menez, according to Inside Futbol.

The 26-year-old has played in Italy before, having two seasons in Serie A with Roma, before making the move to PSG in 2011, where he has enjoyed some fine form as part of the French giants’ title-winning squad last season.

However, he no longer looks to be a regular this season under new manager Laurent Blanc, and following the arrivals of further big-money signings by the mega-rich Qatari-backed outfit.

This looks to have alerted some interest in Menez ahead of the January transfer window, with Liverpool supposedly keen on adding him to their ranks as they seek further options in the wide-areas.

However, a return to Serie A could now be on the cards for the French international, as Italian champions Juventus could prove a more attractive proposition with their strong title credentials and Champions League football on offer.

Antonio Conte’s side may still consider other options before moving for Menez, but Liverpool could be forced to look elsewhere if this big name attempts to compete with them in the transfer market.
