Check in to West Ham United vs Manchester City

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is apparently keen on Man City playmaker David Silva but have been told by the Etihad Stadium side that it would take a bid of £50m to land the Spaniard according to the Daily Star.

The La Liga giants apparently see the 27 year old as a potential replacement for Mesut Ozil, who of course left for Arsenal in a £42.5m deal in the summer.

Though the former Valencia man only signed a new five year deal just over a year ago there would be a real fear at Man City that the flair player could be tempted by a move back to his native Spain.

Silva is into his fourth season at Man City and even though he was by no means at his brilliant best last term the Spanish international still provided 13 assists across all competitions.

Man City collected FA Cup and Premier League titles in Silva’s first two campaigns at the club and having spent £25m to bring in the pint sized attacking midfielder they can certainly expect to secure a much higher price from any potential sale to Real Madrid.
