Highly-rated Bosnian shot-stopper in no hurry to move.
Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic insists he has no regrets about staying with the club this summer, despite being linked with moves to several of Europe’s biggest clubs, Sky Sports reports.
The Bosnian international is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and was said to be attracting interest from the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Latest rumours have linked him with moves abroad, with both Atletico Madrid and Napoli watching him, but he says he is more than happy to continue his development at Stoke.
“I’m happy because I stayed at Stoke City,” he said.
“I feel great here and I love my football here, but I can’t hide the fact that it was nice to be linked with so many big clubs.”
