Liverpool are reportedly ready to listen to offers for Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez according to the Sunday Mirror.

The Anfield side are set to consider offers of £50m and above as they prepare for life without the 26 year old who attempted to force through a summer exit.

Arsenal are said to be ready to make an offer of around the required £50m mark but Suarez has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, with Liverpool presumably finding a sale to the La Liga side preferential to any move to a Premier League rival.

Suarez has been in excellent form since returning from the ten match ban he received for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, scoring three goals in two Premier League match and now Liverpool are hoping to more than double the sum, £22.7m, they paid Ajax for the marksman’s signature.

Brendan Rodgers would presumably be loathed to lose Suarez but can call upon Daniel Sturridge and Iago Aspas to deliver the goods up front and would no doubt seek to use the funds from the striker’s sale to bring in another attacking option.

Suarez has scored 54 goals in 99 appearances for Liverpool since joining the club in January 2011.
