Wing ace admits he will asses his options.
Barcelona forward Christian Tello has admitted that he will have to reconsider his future at the club at the end of the season, talkSPORT reports.
The 22-year-old has struggled to establish himself within the starting XI at the Camp Nou after first breaking into the side back in 2010.
He is currently competing with Lionel Messi, Neymar, Alexis Sanchez and a long list of others for a place in attack – and has made just six appearances in La Liga so far this season.
Tello has been linked with moves to a number of sides recently in light of not being able to command a regular starting spot, and Liverpool have been mentioned as just one possible destination.
The young wide man is often deployed on the flanks of a 4-3-3 formation, similar to the one that Brendan Rodgers uses and Anfield, and the Reds boss may be compelled to make a move should Barca decide to let him move on.
And Tello has admitted that he foresees another struggle should he decide to pledge his future to the Catalan giants.
“Right now I am very happy, but next year we’ll see,” he said.
“Every year I’ve felt more integrated into the team, more mature, but then every year you want to play as much and when the season ends we’ll see what suits me best.
“[I want to be] playing as much as possible but I know who I have in front of me. But hey I’m ready to play it all if needed.
“I know that I can perform at the top, but that’s the coach’s decision. He has to choose between all of his options.”
