Red Devils tried to sign Netherlands star last summer.
Turkish champions Galatasaray want to sign Manchester United winger Luis Nani when the winter transfer window opens for business in January, with recently appointed Gala head coach Roberto Mancini understood to be prepared to pay as much as £13m in order to secure the Portuguese’s services, according to the Daily Express.
The experienced Italian coach only recently replaced Fatih Terim in Istanbul, however, already it is understood that the former Manchester City boss is determined to bring in a number of new players in order to freshen up his squad.
The first name believed to be on Mancini’s wish list is that of the Red Devils’ inconsistent Portugal international, a player who has been with the Premier League champions now for the past seven seasons, without ever truly commanding a regular first-team place at Old Trafford.
And despite being contracted to the top-flight giants until June 30 2018, Gala hope to be able to persuade new United head coach David Moyes to part company with the 26-year-old by offering him highly rated Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder in part exchange, especially after United attempted to buy the former Inter Milan star towards the end of the recent summer transfer window.
