Newcastle are being linked with a move for highly-rated MK Dons youngster Dele Alli, according to the Journal.
The skillful teenage winger is rated as one of the most promising English players of his age group, and could be eyed up by the Premier League giants as soon as this January as they look to strengthen their squad.
With some doubt over the future of Hatem Ben Arfa at St James’ Park, Alan Pardew’s side have been linked with several other players in that position, including Blackpool’s Tom Ince and Manchester United’s Wilfried Zaha.
Still only 17, Alli is a regular for the League One side and has already managed two goals for the club.
