Man United boss David Moyes is set to receive a massive January transfer war-chest after the Premier League side sealed a lucrative deal with sponsors Nike according to the Metro.

The deal will see Man United receive triple the amount they currently bring in from Nike, and is also doubles the £31m a year agreement Real Madrid agreed with the company and will see Moyes given a major boost as he seeks to strengthen his squad.

Man United are expected to target a big name signing in the January transfer window after a less than glorious start to the campaign has seen the Premier League title holders suffer three defeats in their opening nine fixtures.

Moyes only brought in one major signing over the summer and Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini has as yet failed to set the world on fire with his performances for Man United and the club could well do with freshening up if they are to challenge for major honours this term.
