Former Stoke City head coach Tony Pulis has demanded a lucrative £2 million-a-year contract to replace Ian Holloway as the next boss of Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace, according to reports in the Sun on Sunday.
The south-east London club parted company with Holloway last week after the Eaglers had been thrashed 4-1 at home by city-rivals Fulham, the seventh loss in just eight Premier League outings that the manager had overseen so far in this campaign.
However, the man that co-chairman Steve Nash had originally targeted to keep Palace in the top flight has told the relegation-threatened side that he wants to be paid a staggering £2m to take on the daunting role.
