Feyenoord coach Ronald Koeman has admitted that defensive star Bruno Martins Indi may be sold during the January transfer window as constant speculation links him with a move to the Premier League, Sky Sports reports.

The talented 21-year-old has been a target for the likes of Everton and Arsenal since the summer months, but they are believed to be just two of many that are keeping tabs on him with the view of putting a serious offer together then the transfer window reopens in January.

And Koeman has admitted that the club could be prepared to listen to offers for the player as he does not want to halt the progress of someone obviously destined to reach the very top of the game.

He also admitted that the club would also be willing to let a few more of their squad players head for the exit too.

“Sometimes you can’t stand in the way of a player who needs a bigger stage to develop into a world-class player,” Koeman said, quoted in the Sunday Mirror.

“We have two or three players who we may have to sell, and Bruno is one of them.”

Martins Indi first broke through into the Feyenoord side back in 2010 and has gone on to make 78 appearances for the club and has also wracked up 12 caps for the Dutch national side.
