Championship high-flyers Queens Park Rangers are on the verge of signing experienced midfield player Yossi Benayoun on a free transfer, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The Israel international has been without a club since leaving the Uefa Europa League holders Chelsea at the end of the previous campaign, with Benayoun having since been keeping fit by training with Maccabi Haifa in his homeland.
However, it now appears as though the 33-year-old, who has also played for the likes of West Ham United, Liverpool and Arsenal during his eight-year career in the Premier League, will soon put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Loftus Road.
